Messages like “Powered by Odoo” appear in multiple places, such as:

  • Website footer / Portal brand promotion
  • Emails
  • POS receipts
  • Login page

How remove Odoo Branding messages, also for Odoo Online (SaaS) databases?

pure data module solution (using Import Module) to remove Odoo branding:

  • download the module remove_odoo_branding
  • enable the developer mode
  • go to apps and using "import module" upload remove_odoo_branding

Email: branding are removed from Global email layout (most transactional emails), but not for templates where the branding messages are inside the email body. For those, the branding messages must be removed in the UI:

  1. Go to Settings → Technical → Email Templates

  2. Search for the templates that still show the line, typically:

    • Settings: New Portal User Invite (or “New Portal Sign Up”)
    • Settings: New User Invite
    • Settings: New User Signup / account created
  • covers: website · portal · emails · PoS receipts
  • If needed, this module can be uninstalled normally like any other module.
